WHAT IS CEMAC ?
CEMAC is a Belgian Centre of Expertise.
Through our own staff and through national and international networking, we contribute to the development of knowledge on crisis management.
We offer services to authorities, companies and the not-for-profit sector.
These services includes:

- exercises
- ... and even real time support.
We operate globally from our Belgian hub.

OUR LEADING PRINCIPLES
- We develop and offer products and services that are based on the practical application of science/knowledge based concepts.
- We use standards to deliver non-standard dedicated solutions.
- The emergency manager needs operational solutions, not consultancy reports.
- You can choose the wrapping, but inside the box will be the truth.
OUR BASE MODEL
Our activities aim at increasing, maximising the emergency/crisis management capability of organisations.
This can be international organisations, national and subnational authorities, commercial organisations and not-for-profit organisations.
We believe that enabeling emergency management capability is a continuous process, focussing on risks, preparation of plans, people and equipment, training and exercising and learning from incidents and near-misses.
We structure our products and services based on that logic and have developed a hollistic circular approach depicted in the form of an emergency management CIRCLE, with four "R-words" representing the main quadrants.
